25 an hour Anticipated initial assignment is to be in at the North Tonawanda Learning Center, North Tonawanda, NY.
The individual will provide services in programs of special education.
The individual will provide instructional, behavioral, and clerical support under the direction of the classroom teacher to students with significant social, emotional, and behavioral challenges as well as global delays.
The individual will need the ability to take direction, be flexible, be able to exercise patience, and work collaboratively as a team member.
The individual should have knowledge regarding or experience with students with disabilities.
Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and de-escalation training is preferred.
Regarding physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position, requirements may include the abilities to regularly and repetitively stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, push, pull, crawl, and kneel.
Regular attendance and dependability are required.
Other responsibilities may be assigned.
The assignment is subject to change.
Salary:
$18.
25 per hour.
