ELIGIBLE FOR $1000 SIGN-ON BONUSSecond and Third Shift Positions AvailableCompletely Voluntary OvertimeTo fit, assemble and dismantle various pumps casings and component parts to build or rebuild centrifugal pumps.
Visually inspect for defective parts on customer returned pumps.
Assembles, dismantles and fits castings and component parts using wrenches, screwdrivers, files, taps, grinders and other hand tools.
Fits motors on castings and align them to the pump.
Measure components and sub-assemblies for proper fit and alignment.
Interprets drawings, technical specs, and work instructions to execute assembly operations.
Checks parts for assembly against bills of material and reports shortages or irregularities.
Visually inspect parts for defects, damage or wear.
Move parts and assemblies using overhead and jib cranes to position and facilitate assembly.
Keeps Immediate work area clean and orderly.
Requirements:
Ability to read drawings and technical documentation.
Mechanical aptitude to fit and align components.
Ability to use tools to deburr, fit, align and assemble component parts involving tight tolerances.
Capability to use precision measuring instruments and record results.
Ability to manually lift parts weighing 35-50 pounds.
