Growth opportunities We're looking for a Security Officer with an interest in working in the security field.
Our Security Officers are responsible for monitoring the building after-hours, assisting management with security and safety issues, making sure that all employees are where they are supposed to be, taking action steps as necessary, and documenting findings frequently.
Our ideal candidate is well-organized, good at communication, and has a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain contact with other security personnel.
Monitor security systems for irregularities.
Keep accurate records and files of emergency medical call-outs and incidents involving losses, thefts, or destruction of property, including loss prevention tactics employed by shoplifters.
Handle situations ranging from customer disputes to threats of violence.
Ensure that all necessary security precautions are taken on the property.
,Prepare reports and logs on activity within the establishment, as well as incidents that occurred in the surrounding area.
Train security staff and help them to carry out their duties.
